Abeni Wickham, PhD traded her career in Molecular Physics for a mission to democratise academic research. Driven to alleviate the frustrations of publishing, she founded SciFree in 2018, building a female-led company that now serves over 110 universities globally with Open Access workflow tools. Today, Abeni is tackling the converging crises of budget failures, data loss, and AI attribution facing global research. Through SciFree’s DYNAMICA, she is championing institutionally-controlled infrastructure designed to return €3B annually in productivity and position Sweden as the definitive global leader in Open Science.
