Per Norén became Ovzon’s President & CEO on May 1, 2021, after a distinguished career and industry leading experience in leading and managing global high-tech and high-growth companies and organizations mainly in the technology (software, hardware, connectivity, systems and integration including Analytics, AI, Coud and Cyber) aerospace, aviation, maritime, land and transportation industries. Ovzon is a fast-growing technology company specializing in delivering unique and integrated satellite communications solutions – mobile broadband via satellite. The company delivers the high performing, mobile and resilient satellite communications solutions (“highest bandwidth through the smallest terminals”). Ovzon’s SATCOM solutions meet the unique criteria and growing demand for connectivity for customers with the critical missions, including Government, Defense (Military and Civil), National Security and Public Safety – Emergency Services (Police, Fire and Rescue Services, Coast Guard), Media, and NGOs. Before joining Ovzon Mr. Norén served as President of the Anuvu Group, a leader in satellite connectivity, content, and entertainment solutions for the aviation, maritime, land, government, defense, and oil and gas industries. Prior to joining the Anuvu Group, Mr. Norén held several senior executive positions at The Boeing Company for 10 years, including Vice President, Digital Aviation, Vice President of Information Services, and Managing Director of Air Traffic Management and Environmental Strategy. Earlier, Mr. Norén led and grew for over 10 years, Carmen Systems as its President & CEO. Carmen Systems was a fast-growing technology, analytics (Operations Research) software and services company for the global airline, railway, transportation and logistics industries and became the de-facto market leader in less than 10 years. Mr. Norén graduated from the Swedish Military Academy and the Gothenburg School of Business, Economics, and Law at The University of Gothenburg, Sweden. He also earned a degree from the Executive Education Program at Harvard Business School, MA, USA and attended Chalmers Executive Seminars and classes at the Boeing Leadership Center.
